At the upper center of the Combat HUD and Command view as well as in any station, your chat messages appear in the message stream. You will receive not only chat messages from your team but also status messages from your automated stations, miners, and constructors.

You can scroll through the chat messages in the message stream by pressing the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN keys.
